Augusta , Ga. , author Sharron Martin will be signing copies of Murder Sings Out from 10 a.m. ñ 12 p.m. on Saturday, June 17, 2006, at the Enterprise Public Library.

In Martin's debut novel, the corpse of the philandering wife of the local bank president is found behind the organ in the church, and everybody's a suspect. Assistant District Attorney Michael Davonport, charged with solving the case, turns to his secret weapon-his crime-solving grandmother. In a race against time, Elizabeth and Michael hurry to solve the killer's identity before he (or she) can strike again.

For fans of easy-to-read mysteries with a hint of Southern-fried culture, Murder Sings Out is a great book to pick up-and not put down.

Martin, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Egbert Hicks, will be in Enterprise, Ala., for her 45-year high school reunion.
