The Greeter debuts at Morris Museum launch party
AUGUSTA, Ga. — Featuring music by the legendary Byrd Family and delectable southern edibles from Hot Foods by Calvin, the launch party to premier Mary Ellen Cooper’s novel, The Greeter, will take place Saturday, April 16, 2005, beginning at 5 p.m. at the Morris Museum on Reynolds Street.
A deeply moving story about love and hope in a small southern town, The Greeter is also a tale of faith and strong hometown values that are challenged when a community is suddenly faced with a chilling mystery.
The author will perform a reading from The Greeter and describe how she came to create the novel.
Mary Ellen Cooper, a professor of crisis management and psychology at Brenau and Baker universities, lives in Augusta, Georgia, with her family. She is currently working on the next novel in The Greeter series and a parenting series – both coming soon through Harbor House.
