About James P. Reger
James P. Reger was born and raised in Buckhannon, West Virginia. Two of
his great-grandfathers were distinguished in battle during the Civil War
- one with Jeb Stuarts cavalry and another marching with the Stonewall
Brigade. He is the author of several non-fiction history books, including
Generals of the Confederacy and Life in the South During the
Civil War. He teaches high school U.S. history in San Diego.
