McCullough promoted to associate publisher

AUGUSTA, Ga. — Harbor House, the Augusta-based book publisher, has promoted its director of marketing and managing editor, Carrie McCullough, to associate publisher.

McCullough, a native of Augusta, came to Harbor House in March with a rich background as a former newspaper editor and has smoothly transitioned to the book industry according to E. Randall Floyd, publisher of Harbor House.

“She has really come through for us, despite having much to learn,” he says. “In only five months, she has supported Harbor House during a period of extreme growth and change and shown herself to be more than capable. I am excited to see her use her talents to their full potential.”

McCullough and Harbor House face a challenging time in the coming months as they look forward to the release of their fall titles and adjust to a new location. McCullough is visibly excited.

“I know Harbor House is fast becoming a major player among small publishing houses,” she says. “I know I can help it become even greater.”
