Harbor House Author Mike Adams
Hired as Permanent Columnist for
Heritage Foundation's TownHall.com
Dr. Mike S. Adams, author of Welcome to the Ivory Tower of Babel:
Confessions of A Conservative College Professor (April 2004), has
been hired as a permanent columnist for the Heritage Foundation's award-winning
website, TownHall.com.
Adams, an associate professor at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington,
will write a weekly column for the Heritage Foundation, which will run
alongside those of other conservative columnists such as William F. Buckley
Jr., Ann Coulter, Walter Williams and George Will.
Adams began writing a guest column for the Heritage Foundation in May
following a controversial satire he wrote on race-based affirmative action.
The column attracted the attention of Rush Limbaugh, The National Review,
and Fox News' Bill O'Reilly before Town Hall contacted him to write occasional
editorials.
Since then, many of his columns have been ranked atop the organization's
"top ten column" list, which is based upon the number of times
readers view and forward posted commentaries.
According to Adams, "The Foundation regularly publishes scores of
columns by nationally-known conservative writers. That's why I'm shocked
that my columns have been so well-received."
