PHIL KENT TO APPEAR ON FOX & FRIENDS
NEW YORK - Remember when the lights went out in New York City?
Phil Kent does.
The former editorial page editor of The Augusta Chronicle and author of
The Dark Side of Liberalism: Unchaining the Truth was in New York
City to pitch his new book when a power failure plunged the entire city
and much of the Northeastern United States into total darkness.
"I had just completed an interview with Barry Farber (The Barry Farber
Show) and was set to appear on Fox & Friends on the Fox News
Network when everything went black," he said. "It was total
chaos."
Phil missed his big opportunity to appear on the popular early morning
news show,
but on Monday, Nov. 17, he'll be back in the studios of Fox News to talk
about his book.
"I'm really excited," he said. "Fox & Friends is one
of the highest rated morning news shows in the country, reaching an audience
of about 15 million people. It'll be a lot of fun-plus great publicity
for The Dark Side of Liberalism"
Phil described his new book as a "call to arms" for commonsense
Americans-a "must read user's guide for arguing and winning the conservative
cause for freedom."
The book discusses such topics as:
--Why liberals hate America-and fan racial victimization;
--Why liberals despise heroes-and excuse criminals;
--How liberals have ruined the American educational system by "dumbing
down" expectations and values;
--The untold truth about fanatical followers of Islam and the war in Iraq;
--How the poor steal billions from our pocketbooks each year.
