Susan Polonus Mucha resides in Augusta , Ga. , and Kiawah Island , S.C. A mother of four and former emergency room nurse, Mucha teaches English composition at Augusta State University . She also runs a mentoring program at Immaculate Conception in Augusta , Ga.

Susan knows Augusta , Georgia , and Lima , Perú, and she paints a vivid picture of both in her premier novel, Deadly Deception.
