Naomi Williams

Naomi Williams was born in the Low Country of South Carolina, where both of her novels--Two Rivers and Jacob’s Daughter--are set. She lives in Augusta, Georgia, where she retired from Augusta Preparatory Day School in 1993, concluding forty-two years of teaching English in public and private schools. Upon her retirement, Augusta Preparatory Day School honored her with a scholarship bearing her name.
